Have you ever wondered how the earth came to be? Maybe you have been told it came to be through a big bang over billions of years. Have you ever thought how amazingly intricate something was, and you didn't know how it could have possibly been by chance? Well today we are discussing how the earth came to be.                                                          Over the years Creation and Evolution, as well as theistic evolution, have been a big debate. Creation is the belief that God created the earth and universe in six days, while Evolution is the belief that the big bang and billions of years created the earth. Theistic evolution tries to compromise God's word, Creation and man's word, Evolution. Theistic evolution states that God created the matter the made the big bang and used other natural processes to create the earth.

First Creation is the belief that God created the earth in six days. The Bible clearly states this in Genesis 1:1 which says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This is stated many times in Scripture. In Exodus 20:11 it states, “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in the them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” In this verse it clearly states that the earth was created in six days. These six days and the seventh day, the day of rest, created the foundation of our week. In the Bible the Hebrew word yom was used which means “day”. If, as theistic evolutionists believe, each day had lasted a thousand years, the Hebrew word dor, which means time, period, or generation, could have been used. In Genesis 1 it clearly shows that there was evening and morning and that was a day.

Second Evolution states that the earth came to be through a big bang and 13.8 billion years. Evolutionists believe that all living organisms came from a less complex state to a more complex state. This does not follow the Second Law of Thermodynamics. According to Dr. Norman, “Evolution is just unscientific. It violates the laws of chemistry including the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the laws of probability, and information theory.”(Evolution 'Unscientific', AnswersinGenesis) While testing DNA molecules, Dr. Norman discovered that the molecules broke down instead of becoming more complex. Evolution is said to be able to be tested since it is a scientific theory. But how can you test something that happened at the very beginning of time.

And the last argument, theistic evolution, tries to compromise God's word, Creation, and man's word, Evolution. his argument presents that God created the matter that created the big bang and used natural processes to create the earth. Theistic evolutionists try to use 2 Peter 3:8, which states, “With the Lord a day is like thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day”, as proof that when God said he created the earth in six days that each day was actually a thousand years. This is not correct, though, because in Genesis yom meant literal 24 hour days. Even though theistic evolution tries to compromise Evolution and Creation it doesn’t work out because in the Bible the stars where created on the fourth day while Evolution states that the stars were created billions of years before the earth. And lastly “the Bible tells us that the earth was made from water (2 Peter 3:5; Genesis 1:2–9; Psalm 24:2), but the standard secular model teaches that the earth began as a molten planet which cooled over millions of years, and that the oceans were the result of asteroid or meteor impacts, or from dissolution of comets as they entered earth’s atmosphere”, states Answers in Genesis, "The Big Bang". The main problem with theistic evolution is it is willing to deny the Bible to compromise with the secular view of Evolution.

Millie's Courageous Days is about Millie  growing up in Pleasant Plains .

Millie gets home from her dance to find her littlest sister Fan has fallen off the roof . When the called for the doctor he said it was a brain injury and could not be cured . Everyday they prayed for Fan . On day Fan woke up , it was a miracle ! Soon after , the Reverend proposed to there stay-at-home house keeper . She said yes ! Now there was a wedding to plan . They decided to have the wedding in the Keith's home to be. All the men and older boys rushed to finish the house .  Finally the wedding came .  A while since the wedding , Gordon Lightcap , a friend's brother , got shot and almost died . In his recovery he got saved . This made her friend  , Rhoda Jane mad . In this book it was like one tragedy after another .  An influenza from the swamps came around . Everyone was getting sick and , most were dying . Millie eventually got sick . While she was sick friends came and talked with her . Once she had conscious she heard that her dear friend Rhoda Jane was saved and while she was sick she had read her a verse from the Bible . Millie and her family made through , BUT...

I really liked this book ! Martha Finely did a really good job . THE LIFE OF FAITH Series REALLY  lives up to it's name . in each book Millie really has to trust God  .  Before making a decision   Millie always prayed and talked to God about it . She would stand up for  her faith or what was right .  She would talk and discuss her faith around strangers . The hard part for me would probably be standing up . One reason is because I don't always like talking in front of a strangers . I also haven't really had the opportunity ; I am almost always surrounded by Christians , but when the opportunity comes I hope I will stand up for what I believe .

The Millie  Keith Series is such a good  series,  especially for girls ages 10 and older . This book is about a 12 year old girl named Millie . She and her family are moving from their beloved home in Lansdale , Ohio to a place called the Pleasant Plains , in Indiana .

Millie has to leave her friends, their wealth and the only place she has ever known for an undeveloped town on the frontier in a whole new state . On this dangerous journey she learns to trust GOD in depth. When they get to the frontier , to Pleasant Plains , they stay in a old warehouse which they call " THE BIG YELLOW HOUSE "  until their house on the hill finished . Soon it was Christmas time and there was a Christmas Ball . Millie and her new friends had a great time , but when Millie got home ... THERE WAS SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG !

 I loved this book , and the next is even better . Martha Finley did a great job and my summary can't cover it all at all. This book and the whole series just shows the Amazing Faith these people had and really makes me say to myself " wow ! God is so good." and even through the rough times they had  , what faith they had .  We all  experience hard times ; through it all God is still good .

Ember Falls is the second book written by S. D. Smith after The Green Ember . It is about  an animal kingdom as is the Green Ember it's sequel  . CLOUD MOUNTAIN was under attack by wolves , but was "rescued" by Terralain soldiers and their prince , KYLEN , & their king  ,BLESTON .  Terralain soon took over Cloud Mountain while Smalls and many of the chief lords were away. Soon word gets back that Smalls , true heir of king Jupiter the Great , is dead. Now Emma , Heather's best friend and a great doctor at Cloud Mountain, is the  heir . Now Bleston had one thing standing in his way . EMMA. While Picket , Helmer , and most of Cloud Mountain was fighting against their enemy ,  the promised help of Terralain was not coming.  It attacking Cloud Mountain !  Picket , in order to save Emma , has to kill one of his best friends , a traitor , and Bleston, who were  both trying to kill Emma .   Emma tried to signal the the raptors  to come and take her . She tried to sacrifice herself for  Cloud Mountain and for rabbit kind so that Terralain would not be a problem , but at the last moment it wasn't Emma's body being carried off to Morbin it was.......( TO LEARN MORE READ THE BOOK )

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING ! IF YOU  THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED GOOD I SUGGEST YOU READ THE  BOOK .

The GREEN EMBER was written by S. D. Smith . This story is about two rabbits named Heather and Picket who are attacked by the wolves. They are taken to the Mended woods by their uncle and a rabbit named Smalls where they are taken care of .They soon find out the heir to a great fallen king named Jupiter. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and if you thought this little summary was in the tiniest bit good then give this book a try. I promise you that you won't regret it.

LITTLE WOMEN was written by Louisa May Alcott .She wrote this book about four sisters. LITTLE WOMEN is about  romance ,  family,friendship, and life tragedies they face.The four sisters are Meg, the oldest and the one who always wanted "nice " things, Jo ,a tomboy and a writer , Beth ,what you would  call a housewife, at least in those    days, and last but not least Amy, the youngest and an artist. I love this book and I completely recommend it . At times it made me cry and other times make me get really exited. Even though it was written quite a long time ago it is still a very good   book and in some ways was quite relatable .

THE book WHEN CHRISTMAS COMES AGAIN written by Beth Seidel Levine is the diary of Simone Spencer in the DEAR AMERICA series. Simone is a girl who lives during  WORLD WAR 1 . Her brother went to war as a soldier . He told her the war would end by Christmas. To keep herself busy,  she first volunteered at the YMCA because she felt a war was going on yet it didn't feel that way at home.She and her friend , Francie  decided to volunteer at the hospital her  father worked at. SOON Christmas came and as she, her mother ,and Francie were looking for Christmas presents and such she came across an angel ornament she admired. Well Christmas came though the war did not end , it brought a new opportunity to help the war cause. The YMCA needed American girls or,more so women, that spoke French to work the switchboards. It was very real to be taken on this a  adventure with Simone. It was adventuresome,sad ,happy,and even a little romantic.  This book was very good .
